Independent Schools Inspectorate Report
Oxford Tutorial College was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in April 2016.
ISI's inspectors reported that the college exceeds expectations. They considered that the quality of the curriculum is excellent, effectively meeting students’ needs and supporting progression.
Teachers are well qualified and inspiring. Regular assessment and thorough feedback ensure that students are aware of their progress and what they need to do to achieve target grades.
Students’ welfare, including health and safety, is excellent. All teaching and residential premises are secure, fit-for-purpose, clean and well maintained. Pastoral support for students is comprehensive and highly appreciated by students.
The effectiveness of governance, leadership and management is good. The board of governors provide very effective direction and ensures that college aims are met.
