Now that the Autumn term is in full swing, preparations are underway for courses starting in January at Oxford Sixth Form College:

  • A-Level courses – the 5-Term A-Level Course is perfect for students who started the qualification in September but who are looking for a more supportive environment and smaller tutor groups. For those looking to retake exams, our 2-term Retakes Course offers students an informal and motivating environment, with expert tutors helping them to identify and overcome difficulties and perform at their best in the months ahead.
  • BTEC – the 5-Term BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma offers a great alternative for students who want a more practical learning experience, with coursework-based assessment and the opportunity to apply theory to real-life business situations. This course is equivalent to three A-Levels and carries the same number of UCAS points.
  • Advanced Preparation Programme – this course gives international students the support they need to perform at their best in their chosen course of study. The course duration is tailored to the student’s needs and can be anything from less than a term to two years.
  • Oxford Advanced Studies Programme – perfect for international students taking a gap year, this course enables students to experience the tutorial method of instruction favoured by Oxford and Cambridge, while benefiting from an insight into British culture. It’s also a great opportunity for non-native speaker to improve their language skills through the study of academic subjects.
